Spirits of Railroad Avenue
Spirits of Railroad Avenue is a guided walking ghost tour of a historic stretch of road beside the tracks in downtown Ashland. Learn about the surprisingly dark past of this antebellum town, as tour guides relate ghostly stories and experiences from first hand interviews with business owners and residents. This tour runs 60 minutes and is available late spring through the fall.
Stranger Than Fiction
Stranger Than Fiction focuses on the weird and unusual history that accompanies the town of Ashland’s hauntings. We dive into stories that’ve been passed down and speculated on for some time, as well as the evidence to support bizarre rumors and strange occurrences here in Virginia. Balancing history’s forgotten dark stories with the wildly peculiar, Stranger than Fiction will have you questioning if it’s really true… but it’s all just too strange to make up! This tour runs 60 minutes and is available spring through the fall.
Ghosts of Christmas Past
Ghosts of Christmas Past continues the 19th century tradition of Christmas ghost stories. New seasonal stories and stops will bring you through downtown Ashland’s own haunted history, which incorporates some chilling and traditionally inspired tales, perfect for a cold winters night. This tour, which includes guides outfitted in traditional Victorian dress, runs 60 minutes and is only available in December.
